I knew John in high school....ok, honestly I knew who he was and he may or may not remember me being as I was a year older. After living for the past 40+ years with my head buried in the sand in my private cave on my deserted island, I finally was made aware that he was playing with The Doobie Brothers and after some easy digging found out about his spectacular career. I now own all of his albums....not because of the high school connection, but because I have genuinely fallen in love with his voice and music! Each of his albums have their own flavor. I wouldn't say this one is my favorite, but then again I can't really say which one IS my favorite. One constant among them all is his incredible voice.
