Not sure why I held off so long in getting this CD, but am sure glad I finally got around to it. It's a great collection of New Orleans / Louisiana songs in Dr. John's signature style. There are plenty of classics like Careless Love, Goodnight Irene, Basin Street Blues & Didn't He Ramble along with humorous gems like How Come My Dog Don't Bark & Cabbage Head. My favorite is still the title track with its all-star who's-who-in-New-Orleans cast, including the Neville Brothers & Pete Fountain. I'm not sure I like this better than the Doctor's Gumbo album, but if not, it's darn close.
