I bought World Of Piano when it came out and have dug Phineas' Contemprary records. I heard him once in the '80's when he was sadly past his prime. This record finds him at the top of his abilities, especially harmonic. Funny, but this and Please Send Me Someone To Love both with Ray Brown are my favorites and Hapmton Hawes' At The Paino also in 1976, is may favorite Hampton Hawes record and it's also with Ray Brown on bass. Hmmm....
