I took a tumble playing badminton and badly bruised my hip which led to me throwing my back out. I found it hard to sit upright or walk unaided. With only a week to go before a holiday in India I was fearful I wouldn't be able to fly or travel around India on coaches, trains and boats. I read the reviews for this brace and ordered it just two days before the trip. It arrived as promised on the morning of our departure.The brace is well made and was easy to adjust to fit my midriff. I felt the benefit immediately and found the support it provided reduced my discomfort considerably and helped me cope with a nine hour flight. I wore the brace every day for two weeks traveling around India and I think I would have found this almost impossible without its support. My back has gradually improved and I no longer need to use the brace but it is reassuring to know it is there if I need it.I did not find the brace unduly hot to wear even in a very warm climate. It remained comfortable throughout the day although it was always a relief to take it off after a busy day. I would certainly recommend this support to anyone needing help with a painful lumbar area back problem.
