Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Storybook - Classic Movie Novelization for Kids & Adults | Perfect for Bedtime Reading, Gifts & Star Wars Fans Collection

For years I had been searching used book stores for a decent copy of "The Empire Strikes Back" storybook by Random House. They either didn't have the book, or the copy they had was beaten up with pages torn, pen marks on the inside, food stains (eww), and water damage. Thankfully, I found a copy that is more than decent, it's in excellent condition, almost like the person who I bought it from read it once, then put it on the shelf and hadn't read it since. It was also really cheap for an item that is as old and collectable as this one, so I was glad to get this at a bargain. The pictures were just how I remembered them when I first checked it out at my local library as a kid. Don't know if I could find a better copy for such a small price, so I was really pleased to get it when I did and add it to my Star Wars book collection.This is exactly what we needed for our 5 year old. Not too violent, gives him the knowledge of Star Wars that he wants, prepares him for the movies. It is great to read together and he is an advanced reader and can read it mostly by himself. Just long enough to have good content that you can read over a few nights but not too long to lose your audience.I'm not sure what I have to say here. I mean it's the official storybook to the movie. That's really all you need to know. I wish I had these when I was a kid and the movie came out. But getting to share these with my kids is amazing. Buy them all!It's the Empire Strikes Back. It's a storybook based on the film. I had these books growing up and I got them again to share with my kids. It's basically movie stills and small print telling the story of the film.I bought this book to add into my classroom. The idea was to expose and share the joy of reading and Star Wars with my students. When the book arrived, I opened the package and discovered that the front cover of the book was separated from the remaining part. It was as if someone detached the front cover from the remaining part of the book. What a huge disappointment. I took my book pieces to the public library for someone to try and mend my book. If I could give 1/4 of a star I would. Apparently someone has a dark side with sending books based upon Star Wars. Unacceptable vendor. Was not worth the money I spent.Great Book For New or Old Star Wars Fans. Highly Recommend It. Was a little disappointed with quality. Said it was in better condition.Book came in very Fast and in great shape. My bro. Had a great Birthday and really enjoyed getting the book as one of his presents.its The Empire Strikes Back story book, enough said.
