Disclosure: I bought this particular timer just because I liked a color. For some reason I like this fresh green color and bought many utensils for the kitchen to bright the boring place.From the start I was not lucky with this purchase. Instead of two timers I received just one. I called Amazon Customer Service and asked what to do in this situation. They refunded me full amount.The timer itself is great: count seconds correctly, turns off to preserve the battery that all my other mini timers do not bother to do, but... there is this big but... When time is up, the timer does not give practically any sound, ok, maybe does something tiny-tiny-tiny. It in no way can be used as the kitchen timer. I use it only when I do stretching exercises, so I can see the timer. But if you need something bright to add a color to your refrigerator door, it will be a good purchase. It comes with a magnet!I wish the manufacturer would do it right the first time.I thought I may have gotten a customer return, but Votono apparently do not have a protective plastic seal so the battery remains unused and fresh until the timer is needed. Generally, I like to keep a few as reserve.The two I received (I assumed good faith and ordered 6 more unfortunately. Let's see how they arrive). The timer's LED screen was already on. So, who knows how much battery is left, and those batteries are hard to find where I live.Then, the magnet is very weak. It barely holds the weight of the timer on the fridge and slips down very easily.The thickness is not ultra slim. I had bought really ultra slim timers directly from China, but are no longer manufactured.The alarm sound is tiny.Works ok, just can hardly hear.Not a 2 pack. I only received 1 timer, and it has a glue stain on it. Not impressed.Easy to read, yes. Thin, yes. Easy to use, yes. Can you hear it; NO. Neither one. Both unless you want to hold it in your hand and watch it reach "OO".Not even worth the trouble to return it.No reset .only 1 - supposed to be 2 pack. No instructions included.Our dogs hate loud beeping sounds. They are freaked out by chirping smoke alarms, the signal on the pressure cooker... They all start barking like the world is going to end. So in looking for a timer for a dog with Megaesophagus, I was hoping I might find something discreet to put on her Bailey chair that wasn't going to beep loudly. I plan to attach this with some velcro to the side of her chair. The alarm is not loud, so it won't freak the dogs out when it beeps, and since Mega-E dogs must be supervised the entire time they are in the Bailey chair, particularly due to the possibility of aspiration if they are not removed quickly when regurgitating, you don't need a loud alarm, just something to let you know it's time to let them out of the chair. I could see a quiet timer also being great for those who do nails in a nail salon or those who do lash extensions. Again, you are right there with the client--you just need to keep track of time, not be summoned from across the house. I think the seller should indicate in the descriptions that this is a quiet timer. They'd get higher reviews and probably more sales, as there actually is a market for quiet timers.
