I purchased this bag; in the 15.2 size; to be my personal item ; on the plane; for a trip to India. I would have given it five stars, but before I even left the terminal, the stitching on one of the backpack straps gave way, and I had to deal with a broken strap for the rest of the trip. Otherwise, the material is durable, stain resistant, and has lots of organizational options. The snaps and zippers are good quality. I got the one with the black and white vertical stripes and it's very attractive and smart looking. My daughter saw my bag and ordered herself the black one, which also has a nice, business like appearance. Luckily, my daughter is a handy person, and she repaired and reinforced the stitching on the straps, so I'm looking forward to many more trips with this bag. Definitely buy it; just reinforce the stitching on the backpack straps before you travel. (The problem area was at the bottom of the straps, where the adjustment buckles are.) I also found a new use for the bag, during my flight. Fully packed, it makes a nice footrest, to elevate your legs during the flight.
