The difference is clear in the photos. I have a travel trailer that is only a year old and still came with incandescent lights all around the outside. Put these in the brake light housing and they are at least 4 times brighter. Safer at night and during the day. All for a few bucks.they are too bright as tail lights and brake light isn’t bright enough. Going to try another better rated LEDI used these as the replacement tail light bulbs in my riding mower. They make nice bright headlights.Got these 2 weeks ago for my Travel Trailer and they worked perfect. Brightness is great install was to easy. Overall really recommend these over the old bulbsEasy to installWhen driving at night reversing is a challenge but with these I can see very wellI installed this in a Harley chopper. The brake light is the same brightness as the tail light. Basically you would have no brake light while riding with the lights on.For 1157 Replacement - Upon applying brakes, I found the brake light to be too dim. I went back to an incandescent 1157.
