This doesn’t not wrap around the body tightly enough to provide relieve. Perhaps an extra strap on it somewhere. Also would rally like if the neck piece covered the sides of the neck and came up to the ears. Over all it’s not bad, just not a good fit.My husband and I race to get to this thing. I suffer from migraines, and we both have upper back strain from working at a desk all day (he's a programmer, I'm an illustrator), and sometimes cold relief is just what those muscles need! The build quality is not the best (the other reviews aren't joking about the super cheap snap, nor about the fact that this thing will choke you if you're trying to wear it while sitting up), but I find the soft fuzzy side more comfortable and love laying in bed with this on my back. I find that it stays cold enough long enough to be a relief (so about an hour or so for me, I tend to run kinda cold), and I like the softer gel beads. I used packs of ice and even those freezer packs that say not to put on the skin for years, and I prefer this for migraine and upper back relief. If multiple members of your family suffer migraines/back tension, and you have the freezer space, go ahead and buy two, that way you don't have to share.A bit bulky but it does get good and cold. it fits okay for me, but might not be big enuf for a large man. It does help.Really nice and it helps pain.I purchased this because I have multiple back issues that are painful and using a cold pack usually helps. I am having neck surgery next month and thought this would be more friendly than my other cold packs. It is is gel, so it forms to your shape better. It covers my whole upper back and goes just a bit past my shoulders. I’m 5’3 and am not broad shouldered. Some reviewers have mentioned that the bag that they sent was to flimsy to last, I agree but a large ziplock would do just fine. I like that it is dual sided so you can have a soft fabric side or just regular. Because of my size,in order to get the back of the neck close,I have to over lap the front which might be an issue if you wanted to wander around in it. I find it doesn’t stay as cold for as long as some of the other cold packs I have. The quality of the construction and materials was okay. Biggest issue for me,is that the gel migrates down from the upper neck area,so I have to lay it flat and squish it back up thru the “channels”. Over all I would give it a solid 4 stars. Shipping was quick and it arrived in good condition.
