A super-cute manga about dinosaurs. Each story is only a few pages long and is stand-alone, kind of like A Day in the Life of a (insert dinosaur here). My dino-loving 6 year old LOVES this book--she reads out loud every word of every text bubble and she and her 4 year old brother giggle at the absolutely age-appropriate humor. Since it's translated from Japanese, it is read from right to left, but my kids caught on super fast and it hasn't been a problem. It's difficult to find comics for 6 year olds that are at an 8 or 9 year old reading level, but still age-appropriate for a 6 year old--this fits the bill perfectly. I only wish there was more than one volume.
