Product Description

Kevin Boyle displays his songwriting prowess on 'Back to the Campfire,' the first solo release of this New Jersey singer-songwriter. On 'Back to the Campfire,' Kevin revisits what he knows best, his songs and his guitar. His soulful, expressive voice and relaxed, rhythmic guitar are the perfect compliment to his introspective lyrics. 'Back to the Campfire' stems from Kevin's life experiences. His many years of tending bar near New York City and current work as a train engineer are reflected in 'NYC Summer' and 'Nigel's Parish.' Other songs include the thoughtful 'Sacred,' hopeful 'Wake Up the World,' and tender 'SunShowers.' Kevin began playing guitar at as a teenager and soon after started writing songs. His passion for playing is second only to his love of writing and composing. Kevin been singer and writer for several bands, most recently 14A, whose 2000 release, Karma, gained attention from the New York music scene. Kevin currently performs in New York City and Northern New Jersey. In a time of obscure and ambiguous songs, Kevin's clear, straightforward lyrics are refreshing.

This is by far one of my favorite CD s it is Rock Folk and My favorite a man with a Great voice and a Guitar. There's none of the stuff that makes the artist sound like someone else. I feel Mr. Boyle is giving me a private concert time and time again. I look forward to seeing him in Concert
