I HAD TO FULLY EXTEND THE STRAPS & THE PILLOW STAYS IN PLACE NICELY.I gave the Feagar lumbar support pillow a five-star rating for pain relief and support, but for comfort, because of its size, it is rather large on some of my chairs, and on our dining room chair, where I spend a lot of time, I had to put an old belt around the back of the chair so the lumbar pillow would not fall through the space there and onto the floor. On the plus side, the pillow is a good size and the two "arms" that sort of cradle your back are a really good feature and make the pillow very soft. By the way, there are two straps that come with the pillow that have snaps that will hold it on or around a chair, but these are of a size that do not work on the back of my chair. I tried putting the pillow in my truck, but I could not get the straps to go around to the back of the car seat to hold the pillow in place.Very soft but makes such a difference on a chair, car or sofa!! I take it everywhere! Ive had lower back & neck surgeries and this helps my back tremendously!!I had a cheap IKEA office chair that got uncomfortable fast—not enough sturdy padding—so I gave this a shot a few months ago and right away, I thought, I'm gonna get a few more years out of this chair easily! and a few months later, I still think so. I'm on the smaller side so most stuff is not sized for me; in fact, my back only touches the center part of this cushion. No benefit from the side flanks at all for me. Nevertheless, the cushion fits my back well in terms of lumbar support and I can't say I ever found it uncomfortable. It also takes up a few of the inches on my seat pan that I don't need. All in all, if you need to freshen up your office chair, this will do the job.
