First the good. It's pretty comfortable. The stirrups are great. You defiantly fell more balanced and sturdy using those then when you ride bare back . The bad is that you can't mount the horse with then because the pad will slide right off. I had to use steps to get on my horse so that the pad didn't slip of. If using steps doesn't bother you then this pad may work for you. If not, then you probably want like it.
