My little man recently underwent IVDD spinal surgery and is having difficulty using his back legs. I tried some other aides to help him walk with limited success. I then came across this brace on Amazon and gave it a try. It is built extremely well. It is adjustable in a variety of ways, and it is easy to put on. Which all of these things are important for a dog right after surgery. The placement of the 3 D rings are great because it allows you to support your dog in the rear and to hold back on the dog from wanting to go too fast. My dogs experience with this brace was amazing, I actually cried the first time he used it. I now have hope that he will someday walk on his own. With a little support on the rear lead, he is walking better than I could have imagined. He is also standing on his own while wearing the brace. We take him for several walks during the day and we also leave the brace on him in the house for short periods, he will get up and walk on his own and it keeps him calm. The only improvement I would recommend is adding a strap between the 2 straps that come down the front chest. On our dog the straps had a tendency to slip to the side. Other than that I would highly recommend this brace !!
