A foam trimmed instep area provide extra comfort.◆ Polyurethane bottoms. The heel height approximately 1 ¾”.◆ Insoles with built-in orthotic-like arch and heel support disperse body weight evenly to prevent pressure points of the foot, improving comfort. An anatomically shaped wooden footbed keeps a structured support for improved posture.◆ Cushioned Insoles are made of a dense foam that is soft and durable while reducing the “break-in” period.◆ Feature a roomy toe box that allows for improved motion and toe circulation and minimizes the possibility of foot blisters.◆ Designed to fit snugly on the foot, with minimal room behind the heel to ensure proper arch support. For stubborn scuffs on patent leather styles, petroleum jelly can be used with a terry cloth to buff the scuff away and protect them from further scuffing.
Size 8.5-9 fit me, a 8.5 medium width, perfectly, with or without socks. The shoes do not need added arch support fortunately because the insole appears to be not removable. Each shoe weighs a noticeable one ounce less than the similar new lighter Danskos which have glued down, but removable insoles. I kept both the Dansko and the C&C because they are both wonderful, with the C&C being the winner and most comfortable right out of the box even without socks. I am absolutely amazed not only by their comfort, but that they are still in perfect condition after 6 weeks of daily use.Had to send back due to the sizeWhat I like is the vibrant color. I ordered the correct size,but the hill part of the shoe does not fit snug on rather heel. So when you walk the back of the shoe is floppy.One shoe was semi tight and the other almost flopping off. They were both labeled the same size. I am not sure if this is typical as it was my first time trying them. I sent them back and didn't want to try again.My shoe size is 8 1/2. Ordered the 8/9 and fits perfect. Very comfortable with great support and helps with my bad back!!!Necesitaba un zapato cómodo para trabajar. Que fuera confortable para mis pies.
