Nice color, comfortable and good priceFirst I have to commend seller for their efficient delivery. Ordered on 12/14 for delivery was not expected until after Christmas since they were shipped from Germany. The slippers were to be a Christmas gift but after so much research, these seemed to be a better quality than others I saw, so I ordered them anyway. I was happily surprised when they were delivered 3 days BEFORE Christmas! Even happier that the recipient is also very happy with them. He had a pair of LB Evans slippers previously which seemed to be cheaply made and wore out quickly for the cost. These slippers appear to be much better quality, soft leather uppers, the inner slipper is a felt type of material and the heal seams to be suede like material. The soft rubber soles, do not make noise when walking like a lot of the plastic sole slippers out now. They have arch support and a nice wedge heal. He is a US size 10M, based on reviews I ordered a size 44M. They fit JUST right barefoot but he likes to wear them with socks (in the winter), so they are quite snug. He is hoping they will stretch out a bit. The only concern I have is how the fabric of the heal is attached. It appears to be glued and looks like it may start peeling apart eventually. See photos. Otherwise, a very good looking slipper. Will post an update if status changes.A note on the sizing; according to their chart 44 is equivalent to US 11 but I noticed after ordering, the link description states "44 M EU/ 9.5 M US Black" which can be why they do still seem a bit tight. It may be better to go two sizes up instead of one. These closely matched a pair from years ago. I like a shoe you can slide your foot into without effort and go. Well constructed, real leather upper , synthetic sole. This is a very good quality slipper that will last for many years.I normally wear an 11.5 shoe but ordered a 12 (euro 45). Fits perfect.Shipping was faster than expected.Very pleased. We are glad that we can purchase this slipper in the States, as we have no plans to travel to Germany where we used to buy them. They are excellent. The service was very good.If you have a narrow feet like I do this is the perfect slipper for you. Ounce you break them in and that doesn't take long for that process it's a comfortable slipper and they look good on your feet. I purchased these for myself because the regular type of slippers were to wide for my feet and that was a problem, I highly recommend these slippers I wish my dad was alive this would be his Fathers Day gift. The are nice but extremely small. At least 3 numbers under the regular size for the numberExcellent quality product, using daily. Mađe in Germany .I'm wearing them right now!I had my last pair of Moccasin slippers since forever (over fifteen years) and while still comfortable, are literally falling apart, but I was attached to them. Nevertheless, I have been nagged constantly to replace them and my wife dutifully prepared a list for me.The list ranged from £89 down to £10 and reluctantly I chose these - dreading the inevitable 'break-in' period where I get used to something else.I put them on the day they arrived and haven't barely taken them off since. The left one pinched a little around the top to start with but now I'm not noticing it - I would say, I had forgotten I had changed until receiving this invite to review. That means I am very satisfied with them and really hope they last as well as the last pair did. They are now scheduled for a respectful funeral tomorrow marking an end to the transition period.I now find myself wondering how many miles they had walked in their time with me.These slippers are of excellent quality. The materials used and the manufacturing are very good indeed, far better than many, more expensive, pairs of slippers I have bought in the past.I normally wear a UK size 8 1/2 in a Crockett and Jones Tetbury boot, for these slippers, the Euro size 43 has proven to be right for me.I would suggest considering purchasing in a size larger than you would ordinarily choose, since the fit is snug, even after 'breaking in'.If you have a high instep, going up a size will make the slipper even more comfortable. The upper is of a waxy leather, quite glossy with a very slightly grained finish.Stitching and workmanship is of a very good quality. The sole is about half an inch thick, rising to about an inch and a half at the heel, very flexible and supportive, giving good traction on tiled or parquet floors. There is sufficient 'bounce' in the sole to make walking very comfortable. The slippers are more than capable of being used outside on damp grass. It isn't often one can recommend a product without reservation, but in this instance, I feel justified in so doing. As a footnote ( no pun intended ) I bought a pair of 'Rohde Women's Neustadt-D Mules as a gift for a female friend, and have received similar feedback regarding the quality and comfort from the very happy recipient.https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07NR3C7TZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1A well made, attractive slipper, quite 'classy' looking. They are comfortable and even though they're backless they do stay on the foot. The only downside, I'd say, is the interior lining. As I don't wear socks with slippers, I don't know anyone who does, the lining feels as though it is starting to become threadbare after only a couple of weeks, a kind of rough texture. I'll continue to monitor this aspect. Other than this I'd say I chose well, though this could change in time.Nice quality product and well made, but the first pair I ordered (in my usual size) were too small / tight. Amazon and the trader were excellent and efficient in organising the return and replacement, and the second pair I received - in a size larger than I normally wear - fit 'OK'.I would normally spend about £20 on a pair of slippers from M&S, and they'd last about 18 months before they fell apart. I decided to spend considerably more in the hope of getting a slipper that was more robust. And I'm so pleased I did. These feel really good. They're only a couple of months old, but I'm sure they're stronger than what I've had in the past. Rohde is certainly a brand I now want to identify with.
