Heads ip before you purchase, unlike Loon, Orvis, etc. the retractor cable is not wire but threadlike material. Can't vouch for durability but doubt that it will hold up like others have.Also, if you plan to attach to a vest, waders, pack, shirt, etc. which has reinforced zinger attachment points the pin on this runs up and down not side to side so it will not attach with the retractors hanging down but sideways.I will find a use for these but probably not where I had purchased them for.The cord is too short for my liking. It could be another 6-12 inches and it’d be perfect. But it worked and I had no issues with the cord. The backing attachment is a needle clip, as best as I can describe it. It has a sharp end that clips through material. The needle is flimsy though and bends easily. Which makes it easy to come off. It could be improved with a better attachment point. Altogether, if your gonna clip it to your shirt or pants it would be a good product, otherwise if your gonna attach it to a bag or tackle box find something with a better attaching point.On first use the pin broke offThese have only been used a few times so far, but the construction appears durable. The pin holds well. Haven't had any issues with retraction. I guess if I had to pick a negative quality it would be that whatever is attached to them will knock together. So, if you have both forceps and nippers attached they will hit together when you move. Not really a deal breaker, but when your on a stream and its really quiet you can hear them making a ping sound.Quality zinger for the price. Both worked well and holds my fishing gear. I used it for a set of forceps. The length of the cord is fine, goes about as long as my arm goes forward. I purchased a second for my wife.I hold an orvis knot tyer which is rather long & heavy, and a big pair of forceps, and it holds them fine. I just hope it lasts as long as my orvis dual retractor which finally broke the clip.The zinger part is great, but the metal in the pin for attaching it is weak. On mine it bent and my nippers and forceps went in the river. Not cool!This product is as good as advertised. Works perfectly and built to last. Holds clippers and retracts smoothly.
