This is the perfect size for our two year old! I initially purchased it for international travel so we could have diapers, wipes and a snack easily available and this little backpack was perfect. It was comfortable and didn’t weigh on her back and she had no issues keeping it on. The chest strap is handy for making sure she doesn’t fling it off or slip out of it while walking. We haven’t had any issues but the plastic clip on the long, solid strap does feel a bit thin and flimsy so if your child is a strong puller, you may want to consider swapping it out to one with a sturdier clip. I wouldn’t let that deter you from purchasing though. We’ve gotten so much use out of this backpack, I definitely recommend it. The additional coil wrist strap is super sturdy and a great add on. It’s incredibly convenient for walking around so the tiny human can feel more independent with the confidence of safety for me.
