The heat definitely felt good on my back and it has 3 settings for heat control. The constant buzzing from the vibration was a bit much for me.I want to carry the Battery ALONE, not with AC Plug and Wires.I thought I charge the battery and I am able to carry the charged battery with the wire and AC Plug.Now I cannot go outside without the AC Plug and long wire. I was misinformed.Dr. David [email protected] tight and the pad is not comfortable. The heat was also not enough for me.I've been suffering form a back injury since 2001....some doctors recommend cold but anytime i do that i feel worse so I've always stuck with heat. I have those patches and the beanbag things you microwave to warm up.This is so much easier because its a stretchy belt that stays in place. I can turn it on and off when i wish and it also gives me some support at the same time. There is also a massage button that vibrates your back. There are 3 settings for both the heat and massage so you are able to get just right. It also has a heating area in the front so its heating your back and stomach area at the same time. I wish i could turn off the front heat because i'm using this mainly for my back but it isn't an option.This has a battery pack that you recharge. 4 hours recommended to fully charge it. it can also be used by direct plug in while you wait for the battery to charge. Happy to say it comes with the plug and cable.This is perfect because its portable so you can wear it all day where ever you might need to go. Its got velcro so you can fit it snuggly and should fit most waist sizes. However, when you consider it costs a minimum of $55 to get a 45-minute massage by a massage therapist (and usually much more, depending on where you live), the fact that you can use this massage belt for many hours every day means that, even if, worst case, it only lasted a month, it would still be cheaper by far than obtaining only one or two professional massages. And it is definitely more convenient!This is a great device for tired and sore backs.The heat and vibration does bring pain relief.It’s simple to use and comfortable as well.Battery life seems to last around 10 hours before needing to be recharged.
