EXACTLY AS ADVERTISED.These work well for what they are designed to do. I actually used an alternative bracket but I had no found something better, these worked fineThese are very similar to those that came withe accessories installation kits of years ago, I still have one to compare. Although they are not cad plated and a little filing may be required for a smooth edge. Otherwise a good find.I used these to replace some failed supports for a roof fan and used a much higher-grade stainless nut/bolt/lock washer combination on the shell. The original straps appear to have corroded chiefly at the flex point (see photo). I'm hoping these backstraps last much longer and fare better than the original lackluster, cheap Chinese metal.I use these for many different things around the house but making brackets to mount things is by far my top use for these. They can be cut with snips and the material is sturdy enough to last through many installations/removals. These are something that I always have available and I'm always finding new uses for them. Recommended.Very easy to manipulate its shape. It served its purpose for me.I used them to mount some a pillar speakers.Metal straps. They are metal. They are thin enough to bend but thick enough to hold pretty firmly once shaped.Arrived in a bubble pack mailer, expected quantity was present. Straps were pretty solid - I could bend them by hand but it took a bit of force. I was using them to mount a couple tweeters in my dash so I needed to be able to bend them more and they were almost too stiff for my application, so they should be plenty sturdy for most car audio mounting applicationsWhy these are not readily available in the UK??
