These brushed-fleece thermals are exactly what I wanted: cozy and warm layers. I'm 5'5" and 140 lbs, the medium was a comfortable fit. I wore these things to work - inside a library - under my jeans. Great for commuting in temperatures below freezing! A useful extra layer to block high winds, too. Love that soft fleece interior!Wore these all day inside at work, and felt cozy. Got home that night, changed into my pajamas, started scratching my (suddenly very itchy) legs...and realized that wearing these thermals under "slim straight" jeans was not a good idea. I had heat rash blisters from my waist to my ankles, and those itchy blisters didn't heal for a week. Misery.I have been afraid to wear these pants as thermal layers ever since. (My jeans are not skin-tight, so I'm not sure how the issue could be a lack of breathability.) Perhaps the work day was just too many hours of wearing synthetic materials next to my skin.Tentatively recommending these as awesome thermal layers for Outdoor Use Only. :-\I'm rather happy with my Duofold Women's Brushed Back Bottom. I was looking for some thermal pants to keep me warm while hunting out in the woods to wear under my hunting pants and these do the job. I'm very happy to see that they don't sit really high on the waist like most other thermal pants, and they aren't too low either. Low enough for comfort, but high enough that they still keep your hips warm. That happy medium we're all looking for. They fit me just a little too baggy in the leg for my liking, i'm skinny though, but not stick skinny. They are still good fitting and very comfy. So if you're hesitating at purchasing the item because you have curves, there is no worry!Delivery was fast, but i couldn't track my order so i wasn't too sure when to expect it which was a bit disappointing. But shipping is fast!Overall: I would recommend this product! No major complaints.I like these long underwear, but they are short (as they appeared to be in the picture) and I'm only 5'4" (bought size small). This isn't a huge deal since I'm wearing them either under other pants or while skiing (under snowpants and in ski boots), but it does mean that they really do need the bottoms to be hidden. I was also disappointed that the waistband appears to have little to no elastic - these pants would not work for high impact stuff, although I'll admit that they stayed up during said skiing. It was more an issue after I shed the snowpants to grab a beer in the lodge; I had to make sure to keep my top pulled down to avoid plumbers crack from showing. I think they are warm and will keep wearing them, but these changes would make them much better. The fit was a little big around the stomach and waist area. They also came up too high at the waist. However, I am usually an extra small, so since there was no xs size I guess they are true to size. I love the soft lining on the inside -wish the outside was as soft, but the smooth fabric on the outside is perfect for slipping pants over. I got them to wear as pajama pants, so that really didn't matter. Overall, they are nice thermal pants, and would work for either purpose.Keeps me warm under layers! This will likely vary, but it fits me really well in a way that is loose enough to be comfortable, tight enough not to sag/fall, and best of all fits under most things (even my skinny corduroys).I've worn this in Chicago and Minneapolis in December (just check the stats for 2014), and in Boston January/early February. Remember that storm?Shipped on time, which didn't matter so much because I bought it in advance.Followed other reviewers' advice, got a size larger and nup! Don't do it. It was too large, so don't buy size larger. I won't return it. Amazon deducts shipping charge from price when sent with free shipping, so not worth it. They didn't used to do that. That part is disappointing. Other than it is too big, it's an ok item. I found cheaper leggings at Walgreens that are as comfy and thermal as this one.I cannot believe how much I wear these. Initially purchased for the sole purpose of a sailing trip, I now find myself wearing them all the time. They are SUPER comfortable. Tagless and stretchy, so you don't feel like a tube of sausage when you put them on.They're so thin that I've worn them under skinny jeans, and so warm that I'll forgo pajama pants in favor of these in the winter. I don't know what magic they've instilled in the fabric, but unlike my pants or jeans, they are not cold when I first put them on. Highly recommended! When I ordered I checked the size chart, and the M had my waist and hip size. However, when I received the pkg it had a size chart on the pkg that indicated it should fit someone much smaller. I didn't open the pkg for a week thinking that I would have to return them. Then I decided to try them on and they fit. Surprise!Nice unders but the seller should make sure the size chart on Amazon matches what's on the package and that both are accurate.
