First of all, Transformers are not really for tiny minds. The movies and shows aren’t age appropriate. But you know they know about Bumblebee, and that I tried two of the cartoons. So, I got these on sale. And I think they’re fantastic!Putting the velociraptor/T-Rex back together at the tail is a little tricky but I figured it out. My son watched me do this twice. He’s 5 years and one month old, and up until this year was very small for his age (preemie), so I’m really happy to see him capable of transforming these dinosaurs all by himself after a couple of hours.These are, to me, far more durable than many other toys we’ve gotten this Christmas. The Paw Patrol castle is a piece of junk, so flimsy and collapsible; one truck set splintered apart after several days. I like the look, weight, feel, and durability of this set.I’d totally say, “Wow!” but my 2.5yo daughter isn’t as entranced. The colors and printing, and detailing, are beautiful. No rough edges, no indication of easily being broken, and no mottling or scratches in the printed color details.We have saved the world from Creepy Carrots twice, once as super-sized robots and once as regular-sized dinosaurs, and from excessive gravity. Really just great for imaginative play, and my kids are not interested in the accessories each dinosaur comes with, so no potential for violence here.Highly recommend.
