It feels surprisingly comfortable for something that looks like a torture device when first put on. If I just sat with it on I was fine. When I had to move around a lot picking stuff up it kept riding up and digging into tender parts. Maybe a I got the wrong size, but I haven't been a small in a long time and medium seemed reasonable. I did measure myself but the size chart has sizes like S/M and L/XL, and the belt itself comes in individual small, medium, large, and XL sizes. That's confusing.My back quickly got sweaty in it too. The house is only at 69 right now, and I'm moving around but not doing anything strenuous.Otherwise it does seem to be well made and thoughtfully designed. The weak point might be the pulley system. The strings look to be made of a strong material, but they are awfully thin and exposed. Depending on your situation, that might not be ideal.
