My windows are tinted (legal/code) and even with the tint, heat still manages to build up intensely. I bought these with intent to reduce the heat within my vehicle, but there really is NO significant difference (on or off). I've only had them for one month and already the silver side is beginning to flake off/crack and I'm meticulous, neat and careful with everything I buy.These shades won't last long if slightly abused and in heat daily.I like that it uses magnets to set the shades in place but the magnets are so weak that they barely work. The slightest force causes it to fall off completely. I have to be careful when closing the door because the wind from the door closing will cause it to fall off. But it's better than nothing.I have a Chevy Colorado. I thought they would be great in there but they’re just too short. I did not return them because my kids threw away the packaging so I sewed extenders onto them and clamp them in the window and what’s wrong.I like the product but it needs more magnets.Put these on my side windows, along with the windshield sun screen, vehicle was so much cooler and the leather seats didn’t burn the behind. But I guess I must have misunderstood What that word means all the years of my life. Here I thought it meant strong or forceful. But I guess it really means “weak” and “like there’s nothing there at all.” I think rubbing a balloon on your head and using the static electricity to stick these things to your car might be a better choiceThese definitely do their job but they need a little weight at the bottom for dealing with even a slight breeze. I bought tablecloth weights to use with them.
