My 2 yr old was having a really hard time with preschool, major separation anxiety. Drop off, most of the day and pick up! This was one of the books, along with Daniel tiger goes to school, that really helped! I changed the words to suit our situation where needed! Now on the way to school he says ‘mommy alway come back’! And it’s so cute and relieving. I highly recommend for kids starting or switching schools, or just having separation anxiety phases.My daughter went thru separation and it was helpful. We read this book over two weeks. She often requested and we read this book together it helped he talk thru her fears. Really helpful.My kids had a tough time returning to daycare following a long break in day to day structure due to COVID. They cried every morning at drop off, held on to me and pleaded for me not to leave them. One of my kiddos has separation anxiety and it was extra tough for him. I ordered several books to help them understand and cope, and this one is by far their favorite. We've read it so many times they just recite it to me now. They know mama will always come back!My 2 yr old son loves this book. I routinely left him daily, but he started up with huge attachment anxiety out of the blue. After months with no end in site I finally found this book. We read it constantly and I definitely owe some regained sanity to this book. It’s a simple story, but makes it clear that mommy always comes back. After a while he started to show anxiety about daddy leaving so we found another book called ‘Bye Bye Time’ where the daddy leaves and comes back. My happy kid is back to normal and looks forward to going to see his friends now.This book really helped my two year old with separation anxiety - we started to read it when he was one. He repeats the lines of the book when he is feeling anxiety when I am stepping out. He is very attached to his Mommy and this book really helps.It's a sweet story with the message that "mommy always comes back". My sons preschool plays a song, " mommy comes back" when the parents drop off the kids and my son loves the song. I did a search to find a book with the same message and this is what I found. The book isn't the nicest ( the pics look like they were drawn by any parent and it's basically a step up from a laminated story) but the story is nice and my son really likes it.This book is amazing! Our 2.5 year old daughter started half day preschool. I'm a stay-at-home mom and this was our first real drop off situation. It didn't go well at all. I got this book after my sister-in-law suggested something like it. It helped my daughter tremendously! She loves the book and we've read it daily for a month or more. The message is simple and I think she can really relate. She always says as we go to school "mommy always comes back." It's helped give her the confidence to go to school "like a big girl." A must have if your little one is having a hard time at school.Great book. Definitely helps with parent separation in a early childhood environment! My students love it!This is a cheaply made book for the price. I was expecting better.
