I got this as a set (13”, 10” and 6.5”). So some aspects of this review will generalize to all 3.I like that it has a textured hard rubber type material (it’s not exactly hard foam… it’s more like rubber). This feels a lot different than the plane yoga wheels. It has all the functionalities of the plane yoga wheels, but I love that you can also use it for deep tissue therapeutics. And the gap in the center is brilliant as it accommodates my sensitive backbone. This is well designed and very sturdy.So about the sizes: if I had to choose just one, I’d be torn between the 13” and the 10”. I think having both the 13” and 10” is handy as they have complementary applications.Specifically for the 13”: I’ve used it as a backbend aid for the upper and mid-back (too big for lower back). It’s also gives a gentler roller for the back muscles. If you’re wanting a gentler massage and not very intense backbend stretches for the upper back, the 13” may be suitable. But I still think 13” + 10” is the way to go.Specifically for the 10”: I use it as a backbend aid for the lower back (please note: I’ve practiced yoga for many years; propping your lower back on this may be too intense so you have to be careful). The 10” gives a slightly deeper tissue roll. So if you’re looking for a deeper roller for you muscles, and a backbend aid for the upper/mid/lower back, the 10” may be the best choice.As for the 6.5”: I haven’t used it much. I use it occasionally for the neck (place it under my neck and gently, without putting much pressure, stimulate the neck tissue). Maybe there are more ways to use the 6.5” and I am just being clueless. But if I had to buy again, I’d probably skip the 6.5” (but that’s just me… someone else may have way more uses for the 6.5”).
