I have a bunch of chronic lower back issues and am doing DIY PT in an effort to avoid surgery. Everyone's medical condition is unique in some way so I am by no means thinking the UTraction device will work for everyone. I started suspending myself for a count of 20 which was very difficult. I am now up to 3 minutes of spinal decompression. The pain difference is slight, but noticeable. It took over 30 years to get in this condition so I'm patient with any improvement. I notice a difference in the morning getting out of the bed and I can sit for a longer period before I need to relieve the pressure on my spine. I do not dangle myself completely off the floor. Instead my knees are bent & my toes rest on the floor under my body. I do not strap myself in, instead I rest my forehead on the harness piece. I believe the suspension is better than anti-gravity tables because there is nothing pressing into my back. Other attempts at back support including doctor prescribed braces have proven more painful for me. If I slowly continue spinal decompression, I feel my pain will be close to ignorable. Ignorable is as close to pain-free as I'll ever get. The good point is you can use this late at night while using inversion table late at night interfere with your sleep. On the downside, this can put too much pressure on neck and shoulders. If you have neck problems, this may not be for youEasy to use.This sucks. Not sold with pole so renders this crap useless and out 40 bucks!Relieves back pain with just a few minutes. Easy to install and lots of adjustments can be made. I didn’t overthink the adjustments and sometimes use it without the strap across the chest if I want a quick stretch. It holds lots of weight!The only suggestion is that the straps that adjust the height should be longer. For anyone short you have to make the clips go almost to the end of the strap. They seem easy enough to buy somewhere though.Happy with the purchase!
