I was daunted by the size, but after using it, fell totally in love. The chopped foam is a more comfortable pillow than the poly-filled ones, and even more comfortable for side-sleepers than down pillows without the allergy problems. Easy to remove stuffing until you reach your level of comfort; what poly-filled pillow allows that? I would suggest saving the stuffing for another use or for refilling your pillow when the time comes that it's not quite as comfortable.Soft cushiony conforms to neck & head but then it felt hard to me. I want my head to feel like it’s supported & floating. Nope it did not. I have severe arthritis, narrowing of cervical spinal canal with spurs add cyst inside spinal cord. Makes finding the perfect pillow hard. I’m sure it’s comfortable for normal person. I think I need more fiber fill less cubes of foam. Maybe there is no pillow for me.had to remove some stuffing but then works greatI love how you can add or subtract the stuffing and boy is it stuffed. I was able to use some of the extra stuffing for my daughter's stuffed bunny and she loved it too. Can't go wrong. Also if you are a hot head sleeper like me I highly recommend as cooling pillow case as it sees stay pretty warm.I really had to take out a lot of the "stuffing" to get it to the loft and softness I prefer, but it's a wonderful pillow that supports my neck without feeling like I'm sleeping on a wooden block.It is much cooler than my last pillow and I'm really enjoying using it.This pillow comes with a lot of fill (I ended up removing some and putting it in a vacuum seal bag for storage). It looks like the fill might be factory trimmings, and comes in varying sizes. There were some puffs of fiber material, too (see photo). The fibers and smaller bits ended up sticking to my clothes and bedding when removing. They were difficult to remove so I ended up using a vacuum, and washing things to be safe. It's a bit concerning since I don't know how safe this is, especially if breathed in, or ingested accidentally by a kid. I think the manufacturer should look into removing small pieces and fiber fill since this is an adjustable pillow.I liked the first pillow so much I bought a few more to replaced aging pillows. The pillow comes overstuffed with foam, which was a too thick and firm for me. The manufacturer has overstuffed the pillow so you can remove filling to get the thickness/softness you want. I took about half the foam out of one and ended up with a very comfortable pillow. The pillow comes with an inner case that has a zipper to allow the removal of foam. It also has an outer pillow case, perhaps to make it easier to clean as needed.My husband and I loved the “My Pillow” brand but I had thought that there had to be a way to truly customize it and considered having a zipper put in on the pillow itself so that the stuffing could be removed to make it just right. When I saw this concept on the Lucid brand, I knew we had to try it. I love that it also has its own pillow protector that comes with it, too. We both instantly loved it so much that we ordered a second pair for the camper. This is a much better value for the money and it’s so comfortable! It stays in the position that you fluff it into and doesn’t go flat. Now this is truly my pillow, not “his!”I ordered one of these pillows for my vacation home, used it for a week or so, and it is great. I then ordered another for my primary residence, and it seems soft and underfilled. This product variability may explain the varied and conflicting reviews. I have wide shoulders and am a side sleeper, so I like a relatively thick and supportive pillow to prevent neck and shoulder pain. Note both pillows I received were the same Queen pillows in identical packaging.Pillow #1 - Seemed thin when removed from the bag. Fluffed up in the dryer per instructions. Pillow fluffed up very well and is quite thick - pillow covers are "snug" and shape is full and clearly defined. Slept on it for more than a week - great pillow, soft surface but very supportive, rebounds quickly when head is lifted. Best sleep pillow I have used in a LONG time after many attempts to find something with sufficient thickness and support. Very happy, so ordered another for my primary home.Pillow #2 - Seemed similar to first pillow on removal from bag. Again fluffed up in the dryer per instructions. Upon removal from the dryer, the pillow was noticeably less "full" feeling. It is quite soft, and feels like there are air pockets from lack of filling. The covers are very "loose" fitting and the pillow is floppy. Fluffed in dryer again - no change. Slept on pillow, and it is noticeably less supportive and simply feels underfilled. If I had received this pillow first, I would not recommend and would not have ordered another.So, it seems quality control with respect to quantity and/or quality of fill may be variable. I will weigh the 2 pillows when I have the opportunity and update this review to confirm if it is a difference in fill quantity. The pillow can be unzipped so fill can be removed - I will attempt to get more fill to add the the second pillow. I should not need to do this, but at least it is an option...I gave this pillow three stars as an average - Pillow #1 is FIVE stars across the board, pillow #2 is TWO stars.The sizing is definitely off on this pillow. Even my smallest king size pillowcase has approx 3" of extra material on the long side (pic attached)When I lay my head down on it, the top of my head is right at the very edge. If my head was any bigger, this pillow would be too small...Hahaha...All that said, the quality is good and I love that you can take stuff out to get to your perfect loft.I'm a side and back sleeper and it's hard to find a pillow that is on the softer side but also supports when I'm on my side. I find this pillow perfect for that but it definitely took a couple of adjustments with the amount of fill to get it to my liking.It comes super full so it seemed hard as a rock to me at first so glad I could take stuff out. And now I have a big bag of extra fluff for when it starts to lose some of its support.I just wish the sizing wasn't so off because I would like a second one but I'm on the fence. It feels strange having the top of your head almost hanging off the edge of a pillow - I've never had that before :)Quitándole relleno queda con la firmeza deseada. However, the shredded memory foam really helped address some of those issues. My fiancé loved this pillow so much she stole it for herself!Me encantó
