These spikes are well made and nice quality. I used them as spiked feet for a set of speaker stands. The spikes provide stability to the stands when sitting on carpet. These spikes are taller and thinner than the spikes I could find that were made for my purpose, so they sit deeper into the carpet. I think the fact that they flare in and back out makes them look nicer than audio carpet spikes too.
