Yes, it is certainly ideal for youngsters and smaller people; however, unless you are a very big and tall person, and simply using it for target arrows, this quiver will do just fine, especially for the price. The shoulder strap is adjustable and can be tight enough for kids and small adults, but can be loosened enough for for average sized adults. I read a couple of previous comments essentially saying the same thing I am saying about it being suitable for adults. At under $10, I took a chance, relied on those reviews and bought it. I figured if nothing else, I could just use it to store some extra target arrows that I have. I am a very experienced archer and bowhunter, mostly using compound bows with mounted quivers, but I also have a BEAR Titan 30# recurve, and thought this quiver could be suitable to use with it. I am by no means a big man, but I am not a little guy, either. I'm 5' 9" and weight 175 lbs. This quiver easily fits me. Also, I shoot 30 inch arrows and they fit nicely with 18 inches in the quiver and 12 inches above the top of the quiver. For a budget quiver it's nice quality. I would not recommend using broadheads; however, if you padded/reinforced the bottom and lower interior you could probably carry 3-4 arrows with broadheads if you wanted to, but it would be awkward for big game hunting. It can hold at least 12-15 target arrows. The headline is to get your attention so you don't just see the word YOUTH and keep scrolling, because the average adult can use this quiver as well. Obviously, you can find much better quivers, but if you are new to archery and/or looking for a budget quiver, this isn't a bad choice for the money. Also, it is sturdy/durable enough for kids. It's cheap but well made. I hope this review is helpful.I have been getting my boys into archery, and shortly after getting my son his first re-curve, he asked for a quiver he could keep on his back. (The bow I had purchased him, came with a cheap vinyl quiver that only had belt slots, and barely held 4 arrows.) So, I ordered this guy, and he showed up promptly and as described. It's a thicker vinyl, like a standard backpack would use. Stitching seems fine, and the strap is more than sturdy for the weight it needs to carry. It's a bit flimsy though, so I had to make a cardboard tube to fit into it, in order for it to hold it rigidity, allowing arrows to be inserted much easier.Good starter quiver for kids and young teens. Might even survive a few hunting trips. But, none the less, it's just a starter. Get it for your newest archer, or for someone just dabbling in the sport. It won't break the bank, and it simply works.I bought this for my 13 year old daughter who wanted a back quiver. It fits a dozen arrows easily (says it can carry 14) and is a simple, no frills quiver. The strap has half padding on top so it's comfortable. The material is a synthetic weave of some sort reminiscent of backpack material- looks pretty sturdy. I don't know if it's just me but it rides really high, with the top of the quiver level with my daughter's shoulder. This makes pulling arrows trickier as you'll need more clearance... we used 28" arrows for her and she could barely clear the arrows out of the quiver. Good thing we're using bullet points because if they were sharp she would have cut herself several times. She's still happy with this... we may try to rig the quiver so it rides lower. My 9yr old has been into archery for 3 yrs now and loves his quiver. Only bad it for about 6 months now but so far so good d.My grandson loved thisIt is comfortable to wear as an adult. Easy to get the arrows in and out of while wearing, but they don't fall out when you bend over. However, it bothers me that the colors weren't accurate. I ordered pink and gray but got black and purple. It looks like that's a common experience among other reviewers. I prefer the purple, but it upsets me to order a product that is inaccurately described. Please update the color options to reflect what you are actually selling! This fulfills its purpose. It holds arrows for a 7 year old boy who wants to try his hand at archery. It has held up to light use for several months. This quiver is well-made and sturdy with rugged, quality materials. The padding is nice and thick all over, from the strap to the quiver itself. My son has 13 arrows in his, ranging from to 27" to 29", and they all fit in easily, but snugly. The inside of the quiver is heavily padded so that it kind of "grips" the arrows with a flexible grip, keeping them in place as long as you don't turn it too far over. There's definitely room for more than 13 arrows; it looks like he could easily fit at least 6 more in there. The strap is easily adjustable to accommodate different body types and heights. My son is 4' 10" and very thin, and he has it adjusted as small as it will go. I included a picture but Amazon insists on turning it sideways. ? Wish it came in another color option besides the neon green (he would not even consider the pink, so it's not an option for him nor, I'd think, for most boys).Las compre aparte del arco. Son de excelente calidad. Muy profesionalesThis was a gift for my 11 year old great nephew. Fits him well and his arrows. He loves it.
