First, we only got one spare bulb, others seem to get 2. Second, the cover to the battery compartment is almost impossible to remove. It took 2 people and 2 broken fingernails to finally open the compartment. Third, I'm not fond of the Edison bulbs. They are bright in a retina-searing way, they is nothing soft about them. The light is very concentrated and doesn't pool out to illuminate the landscape. It's just like a bright hot spot from that bare bulb. I set them up over garden benches on separately purchased 6' tall hooks ( so lamp is about 4' from the ground, considering the curve of the hook and the below ground part. Benches and yard are not illuminated, just a blinding bare bulb. Strange. I would love to know if the bulb is interchangeable with any other type. Deciding if I'm going to return them.These worked great and were super cute. I loved them. BUT they only lasted for three months. All four don’t work anymore. I’m super disappointed. I don’t recommend.I ordered these last year. Had to return and they were replaced. I love these lights. Took them out of storage this week and one of them needs a new battery. It is not the bulbs. We switched them around and bulbs are fine. I spent hours on Amazon searching for batteries that were supposed to be there to fit these, but aren't. I messaged Airibo and haven't heard back from them. I just want to buy a darn battery!Before buying this product, I read all the feedback to ensure I do not buy cheap broken brands that do not work. This product has a very good rating and feedback so I buy it. Received the product yesterday. One of them works normally while the other does not. I assemble both of them pretty much at the same time, same procedures, yet one works and the other does not. Perhaps my luck is not good. But to make sure, I messed with the broken one for a while. Switching the polar of the battery a few times, change LED, take all apart and reassemble, etc. Until I'm 100% certain that one of them is really a defective product. Thus, I talked to Amazon, all I want is to send me one replacement(for the defective one). I really want to use this product and do not wish to have a refund and return. Yet, Amazon can't do it, saying that it depends on the supplier themselves asking me to check with the replacement function on the website. Now, this is getting complicated, as to send a replacement means I have to return the defective one. The problem is here, UPS's return product policy, will not accept any return without a box. Even sometimes items I buy from Amazon come in bags, they don't care, no box they will not accept. Why would it be a problem with this item(it come in a box)? Well, I have a habit of destroying all the boxes and put them in recycle trash shortly after receiving the product. My reason is very simple, I buy many things, if I keep all boxes and packaging, my house will become a rat's nest. That I can't let it happen. Thus, when I received this product(look brand new, look like it won't be any issues), I promptly destroy all the packaging and put in recycle trash to keep my house clean from all the mess(that was in the daytime, I only find a problem that night when the product performed). Now I have no means to request a replacement(when talked to Amazon, even request for just one replacement, not the whole set). After talked with Amazon for a while, we finally agree, Amazon will give me 1/2 price for this item and already credit half the price to my account. That night I talked with Amazon for more than an hour, all kinds of problems listed, issues involved, policies involved, it was a mess and very tiring. This will not happen at all if the product works as it was intended. Thus, my disappointment with this product, even it has a very good positive rating. Potential buyers be warned, even with a very good positive rating, it does not mean the product will not have a problem. Now with the credit, I will shop around carefully for the replacement item. I need two lights, that is why I buy this one, now I have to find another one. Hopefully, I will find a more reliable one with the price range on my credit.Overall they seem to be good quality. One light fell on it's side and rain got in. Battery and wires got corroded. Not waterproof as advertised.*edit- I purchased some higher quality batteries and it made a huge difference. Raising review to 4 stars; it would be 5 if they came with quality batteries.These get almost full sun at my house but the lights only stay on a couple of hours each night. The quality of the lights themselves is very good, they are very solid. I’m going to try more powerful (higher mAh) batteries and see if that helps.The twist locking of the top to the lantern does not securely latch in place. I added a blob of RTV in the slot to eliminate and accidental release. Price seems high but I guess that want it takes to get a bright lite. Hope they last.The screws they send to assemble the lights are different sizes. No instructions as to which sizes to use where. The poles are not really sturdy, but okay. Have purchased better. What should have taken five minutes to assemble took me twenty minutes. Quality of light seems good, but the instructions were really substandard.Product arrived quickly, was well packaged, and easy to assemble. Sturdy metal construction and the lights themselves are bright.
