Apparently, a change in the ownership of the Jagged Alliance IP has left at least some of the boxed versions of Jagged Alliance: Back in Action orphaned. This means the Steam code you get in the boxed version of the game is useless. A message will pop up tell you "This game is not available in your region" even if the game is for sale in the Steam store in your country. Steam is fully aware of this and does not care you wasted your money. Without a working Steam code, the boxed version of the game is only good for its manual and map. Do not buy this game!
