I'm in the flooring installation business. I use 7 inch paper by the truck load to sand plywood joints. Up until now every brand of paper would wear out fast. Also if I hit a screw the paper would explode shooting fragments out into my legs. Not these. They are made of a fiberus backing material that resistant to tears. The grit stays on and lasts 7 times longer. I used to go through 5 or 6 disks on a normal job. 1 lasts the whole job now and sometimes I can get 2 jobs out of them. I used to go through 50 disks a month. I have only used 10 in the last 6 weeks. Amazing quality.If I hit a screw the disk stays together.
