My mini dachshund size is:Neck- 12.5 inGirth- 18 inBack- 15 inJudging from the size chart, the 14 inch should have worked, but was way too big and long. So I ordered two additional, the 12 inch and 10 inch. The 10 in fit her too short like a halter top. The 12 inch was perfect for my 15 pound dachshund (tweenie) with a 15 inch back. I’m sending back the 10 and 14 inch. Good quality sweater but size chart is not correct.Hope this helps.I'm very happy with this sweater!!! My senior dog is 17 and really feels the cold now. I spent a lot of time reading reviews and trying to figure out which size to buy him. He is 30 lbs, 20 inches long (neck to tail), 15 inch neck, 25 inch chest. Because his body is long but slender I was afraid the 16 would be too short (only reaching his waist area) when what I wanted was generous body coverage to keep him warm. On the other hand I was afraid the 20 would be the right length but too baggy around the body. I was reassured by reviewers saying it's very true to size, trim cut but stretchy. I decided to go with the 20 and I'm SO happy with the fit. It is long enough to cover his whole back and hips. It is a little baggy underneath, but not enough to be a problem. It fits him perfectly around the neck and between the front legs. Not loose, not tight. Bear in mind, his fur fills out some of the fabric. If he was short-haired, I think it would be too loose. I love the burgundy color on him. I love that it hangs down a bit on the sides in a blanket-like fashion, although I can see why some people would prefer a rounded edge. It is a bit unusual in that regard, but again my concern was keeping an old dog warm, so it worked for us. Also want to add this sweater is soft, stretchy and VERY easy to put on and it stays in position! I had it on him in about 10 seconds and he is very unsteady on his feet, as well as unused to wearing doggie coats. I have not had to adjust it at all and he has been wearing it for a couple days now. He seems very comfortable and he definitely feels warmer in this than in his previous coat which was too short for his body and is of a thinner fabric. It has not gotten in the way of his bathroom activities either, which is obviously important. I would definitely buy another for our other dog!I have 2 dogs with long backs. Most coats are short on them. This one is very long and cozy. Good for a chilly night!This dog sweater was exactly as advertised except for the size. I ordered a 14 inch long because that’s what my dog measured from her neck to her rear. However it was 2 inches longer than that and hung over her rear end.I am returning it but plan to order The 12 inch long one. I am hoping it won’t be too tight on her.This a nice pet sweater, however that xs is to small and the small is to long, however other than that it fits nice.Update- since we found that this stretches a little easy, we ordered the 16 inch and it works a lot better than the 18 inch. My suggestion would be to order a size down because it does stretch and won’t shrink much in the dryer.Bought this for our Boxer/Staffy mix and he loves it! He is 54lbs and his measurements are Chest- 28in / Neck 17in and Back 19in. The 18in back selection is what we went with and it reached all the way to lil booty. It seems like it’ll wash well but probably by itself as it may pick up fuzz from the other clothes easily. However.. it does not pick up fuzz or hair at all when he’s wearing it. We have 2 other boxers (who hate wearing clothes) and all three are allowed on the furniture. I have not had to pick anything off this sweater at all and he wears it inside and outside ALL day.The only thing I would say to be careful of is... be careful when removing it. It does have an easy stretch (just like any sweater) and may lose its shape a little.I’m excited to order more when they have more colors in his size.I’ve had several issues with this brand ordering the wrong size (seller is very accommodating). Just make sure you measure your dog’s chest and back length properly.This is the 2nd time I order from this seller, the sweaters last for a long time and colors don’t fade. Good quality and your pup will look very cute!I love this. Size 22. I have 80 lb Doberman and it’s only tight a little around neck. Didn’t think it would be long enough but it is.Lovely quality, warm jumper. With added bonus of access through jumper for harness walked dogs. The sizing guide is very poor, of which is why I have deducted one star. I purchased several other jumpers that fit perfectly. I would have returned for a different size but the jumper was obviously too cosy, Sophie didn't want to take it off. It is also now the first jumper she goes to get when she is getting chilly.Absolutely love this jumper and so does my puppy! Beautifully made and easy to put on. Will be buying again in the futureReally nice dog coat. Very pleased with quality. Good choice of colours. My dog had haircut yesterday and was concerned he'd feel the cold without his thick coat. Needed coat quickly and Amazon came up trumps and it arrived today. Was in quandry over sizing but many reviews commented that coat was generous. His coat fits and think next size up would have been too large. Just hope it doesn't shrink when washed.Bought three of these in different sizes and colour for my three dogs. Even though I followed the sizing guide and measured accordingly, they definitely come up large - I had to change two for the next size down. Quality nice, ideal for after dogs have been clipped in winter and need a bit of extra covering.Perfect for our chihuahua's. The fit is generous and theres no problem getting them on, even for our "Mr Grumps" who normally won't let us put a raincoat on him is perfectly happy to have this put over his head.At first i thought the jumper was a litle expensive but it's well made, warm and is generously cut on the underside for the little man in our pack and well worth the money.
