This was a gift for adult daughter with severe back pain. I used a Nikken wrist band many years ago and it "cured" a burgeoning pain from using a mouse on computer 10 hours a day.She feels the heat from the waistband a lot and likes that, says the magnets may work some but not sure. The belt moves around on her however and the magnet insert does not really stay in place, so right now only wears at home. She believes with winter clothes that cover more, it may be held in place better. That said, she feels the heat from the belt is wonderful and appreciates that. I use the little power magnets myself on neck and ankles.The overall package is the way to go as it seems cheaper than buying each item separately and all can be used one way or another by two of us.
