Product Description

Clinton Andrew Moody was born in Port Huron, Michigan where he lived until he was four years old. Soon after, his father transferred with his job to Texas where they have lived ever since. Clint has always listened to and enjoyed the traditional and new sound of country music, although his true love lies with that of the Lefty Frizzell and many other great legends of their time. As the age of 21, he was inspired by a good friend who sang at the local opry cicurit and still does, to start singing himself. Clint then began voice lessons from Jim Wesson, a well-known and very talented vocal coach and long time member of the original Chuck Wagon Gang. Following his voice lessons, Clint began traveling the opry circuit himself where he crossed the stages of Johnnie High, the Garland Opry, the Stephenville Opry, the Wylie Opry and many others where he became a regular on the shows. Clint soon began teaching himself the guitar and also started to dabble in songwriting. After about five years of playing and singing around the metroplex, he was offered the opportunity to record his first CD with 'Pig' Robbins on the piano and Pete Wade on lead guitar, in Nashville, TN. Clint's new CD 'Back To The Basics', was released on Oct. 7, 2005, at the Stockyard Saloon, in Fort Worth, Texas. Over 150 guests came out to support Clint and The Clint Moody Band!! Clint looks forward to a career in country music and has always aspired to sing on the Grand Ole' Opry . . . . which he plans to achieve one day.
