This was harder to install than it should have been. The caps that go between the washer and the actual handle did not line up initially. Took three tries before I could fit both ends of the outside handle into them. There were no instructions included so I googled how to which helped. I also do not like the look of the little screws that hold the handle in place. I would rather have them on the shower side but how to videos said they can get rusty from the water and place them on the outside.Still I'm not gonna cut myself any more on the square edged handle I had before so it does the trick.
