If you have a back back, especially lumbar, I recommend this chair.I have herniated lumbar disks, degenerative disk throughout my back and am uncomfortable in almost every chair. This is one of very few chairs that I can endure for long stretches. My wife also has back issues and is almost as picky as me. She likes this chair better than my $300 office chair. This chair has enough adjustments to allow changes for height, seat depth (my legs are short), lumbar position (back rest height), and back titlt.Many cheaper mesh backed chairs provide poor support that degrades quickly over time. After a couple months of moderate use, that has not been the case. My wife homeschools my kids and uses this as her home office chair.The chair does not have arm rests, which is a positive for my wife, who suffers from corpel tunnel syndrome (like carpel tunnel syndrome, but in the elbows). Arm rests are hard to resist, but can cause damage if used when typing.The seat is firm and comfortable. I generally prefer a high quality mesh seat. I like my chair to breath and find that mesh conforms well. A good mesh seat will remain comfortable for years. This seat is a dense foam. After a couple months, I have not noticed any degradation. I was truly surprised at how comfortable the foam seat is. it is certainly more comfortable than the mesh seat of my much more expensive chair.I am 5'7" and my wife 5'4". I suspect people up to 5'11" will find this chair very confortable. Over 5'11", I am less sure. You can adjust the seat depth, chair height and backrest/lumber height. So, I suspect people up to 6'2" will find the chair comfortable.The chair feels rugged and well built for the most part. I liked the chair enough to buy a second for my son to use at his desk. He is a bigger guy and finds the chair comfortable. For about the first week, his chair did not adjust height properly. He did not tell me aobut the problem until after ti started working, so I was unable to diagnose the problem. However, I do notice that the pistons on both seem to be a little sluggish, which is typical of older chairs, not new ones. That is my biggest concern. If something gives on this chair, it will be a caster or the piston. The rest of the chair is so well built, I have a hard time imagining other parts failing.Unable to access or tighten the height of the chair back and it constantly falls down.The seat of the chair had a bad thread and could not be mounted. I contacted Office Star on 4/1/2022. I heard nothing back after sending them what they asked for. I emailed 9th, then called April 15th and was told the replacement would be sent. Today, April 25th, nothing has arrived still. I emailed to cancel the replacement since it obviously is not coming and my Amazon return window is almost closed. Terrible company. Will look out to not purchase their products.Extremely customizable with levers to control height, seat tilt, and back tilt. The back can also be raised and lowered, but the ratchet mechanism is hit or miss and seems very loose. Seat cushion is very comfortable with good support. However, the back is perhaps the most uncomfortable I have ever come across. The progrid netting pushes forward at one particular point as lumbar support but this simply focuses all the pressure of leaning against the back along this point which tends to grab and bunch any shirt you're wearing.Based on other glowing reviews, I had expected better.I love this chair.
