I’ve used the Hi Rui brace for years and have loved the fit, the support, and the ease of use. I was very disappointed to see it discontinued. I ordered the new one, and find it fits so poorly…the front is much larger, softer on top and bottom, and rolls over almost immediately. It’s harder to put on snugly because of those soft areas. Once on, the fit is poor….the metal pieces in the back make it stick out at the top, not wrap around your waist tightly. The two straps don’t stretch enough to make it snug. And once it’s on, it obviously does not support like the old one did. I’ve ordered two different sizes, and they are both unusable. If the manufacturer is reading this, please bring back the original design. I would happily buy a number of them. I’m not the only one. I have friends who’ve used that brace, and won’t buy the new one for the same reasons.Very uncomfortableI bought this product for my mother because she was looking for a lower back brace support. However, we were both very displeased with the product because it was too thick, too big, and way too bulky!! Also, it did not help her lower back pain at all!! It was definitely NOT the back brace we were looking for!! I think this back brace is more for overall back support and NOT a targeted or specified area.Hi...I like the stability it provides me with and its quite comfortable. The main thing I do not like is, in the short time that I've had it, velcro doesn't seem to be holding up. I'm a kayaker and am looking for something either waterproof or water resistant.To be fair, I am very petite, 5' so that factors into my opinion. It is so big that it fit up to my chest. It also has no real stretch in the body of the brace and it slid up everytime I bent over. It felt more like a corset than a brace.Supportive? Yes. Helps with back pain? Also yes. Breatheable? Fairly good. Comfortable? Not even close. Had to cut the excess velcro off the sides because it was digging into my side and that helped a little. But not good for an 8 hour shift unless an undershirt is used.I love it. good for when i'm lifting and squatting at the gym. perfect support. get the small if you are a medium. if you are a large get medium. its gonna feel like its not able to stretch but the more you pull it and wear it at least 2- 3 times its easier to put on and you'll for ever be grateful that you bought the smaller size from your size. awesome use to squeeze in those stupid love handles too lolI returned this product
