Our church has had the old exit signs with incandescent bulbs and lead/acid battery backups that have been nursed along for years. The last time I tried to replace a bulb, the plastic housing on one broke into several pieces. I bought these and they are super light and super easy to install. Much better visibility and the box of 4 total units is lighter than a single lead acid battery that costs more than one of these complete exit signs. Highly reccomend to go modern with these signs.Great lights for the money spent. Replaced 15 yr. old exit signs and now think I should have done it sooner. These are much brighter and still white which looks great compared to age yellowed old ones. They are really simple to change and set-up for ceiling mount was a breeze.
