Back to Life: The Path of Resilience takes its inspiration from Danny’s own brush with death. This is an updated edition of Danny’s first book, which was originally published as Back From Heaven’s Front Porch. We all get stuck in the challenges and struggles in life. This is the story of a young man, Jake, who is forced to figure out how to be alive again after a tragic accident leaves him and his friend dead…only Jake comes back to life. Trying to deal with his guilt and make sense of the experience he had when his body stopped—yet a part of him continued—Jake struggles to find purpose and meaning in the day today activities of life and comes close to ending it all again. His quest leads to Moab, Utah, and through a cast of inspiring and unlikely characters he learns about jckrbbt—five powerful principles necessary to move him through this tough time, from just living again…to being fully alive! This inspirational story will grab your attention and hold it to the end as it leads you to gain perspective, understand the path to resilience, and ultimately create a life fulfilled.“Danny’s story is inspiring and his lessons are empowering. This book offers a meaningful model for creating happiness, fulfillment … and resilience.”–Rory Vaden, New York Times bestselling author of Take the Stairs and Co-founder of Brand Builders Group“If there is one self-improvement motivational book you read this year, this is the one! Danny Bader has written a page turner of a book that is powerful, heartfelt and could just change how you think about life.”–Shawn Doyle, CSP, Speaker, trainer and author of Jumpstart Your Motivation and MO!“A book of wisdom, tenderly written, filled with characters you will care for and dialogue that captures our humanity. Jackrabbit will never mean the same thing for you.”–John P. Schuster, author of The Power of Your Past
Before reading the new book, Back To Life, The Path of Resilience, the book cover caught my eye. It strongly supports the overall message of the character, Jake, on his journey as he struggles to find out where life will take him. Jake realizes how creating a vision, and following that vision, can change one’s life in a positive way. I read the book under the first title years before; I was a different person then, and after a second reading, the jckrbbt principles discussed in the book are still applicable- in fact, they can be used constantly to provide growth in one’s life.Jake is like many of us, contemplating life, and its changes. The story alone is inspirational, and the principles subtly introduced in the books immediately led me to making lists, detailing ideas to make the visions come true, and then acting upon those ideas. Jake’s story of struggle, new friendships, and contemplating his life, leads to a vision of hope, and will captivate you as you follow this reality-based story by Danny Bader. If you find yourself in need of a reboot, this is the book for you!
