I used this patch to see how it would hold the tube was a 11 L by 15 I applied the patch correctly waited a few minutes and then stretched the hell out of it with air pressure the patch stretched and held the margins are the sides of the patch held very well I am keeping these patches and I am very particular thank youMy doctor recommended this specific brand to cover the hole left from a surgical lesion removal. It protected the area and allowed it to heal properly. It even stayed on in the shower!!! Most other bandages did not! It is breathable like a cloth with a non-stick surface to cover the wound. Stays put and comes off without leaving adhesive behind. Keeps the ointment and/or petroleum products from leaking out and helps that stay over the appropriate area as well keeping it moist to reduce scarring.I had a precancerous spot on my ear. After the operation I couldn't find anything that would cover it and stay. The doctor's office gave him a small supply of these telfa pads and I was delighted to find a good size box of them on Amazon. Although you can buy the larger ones and cut them, this 2" x 3" size is totally perfect for his needs.Any other kind of "band aid" adhesive either won't stick at all on his hair (what little he has left), or sticks so tight that a lot of hair gets pulled out each time it is removed.Only one time has he had trouble removing one of these, and that was when he thought he had it all off before taking a shower. After that edge which he left on was wet it did not want to come off. All the other times they stay affixed even over his thin hair and they come off easily.Five stars, for sure.These were first used on me when I had to go the ER after a car accident, and the nurse recommended these to use on my cuts and scrapes. And they work great! They're super convenient since you don't have to use gauze and tape, and I find most tapes aren't adhesive. When I used these on my leg underneath a bandage and a few minor cuts, the adhesion worked really well, and the dressing itself didn't stick to my cut either. The adhesion stuck well on the cuts that weren't under a bandage as well. I had one under my forearm, and the adhesion never started to peel off even when I was typing at my desk. They aren't difficult to peel off, it feels just like any band-aid would.TLDR; Adhesion sticks, dressing itself doesn't, highly absorbent, long lasting throughout the day. Cheap but high quality.However, I notice my son find it itchy when I put the adhesive at the same spot.These work well, but if you use extra adhesive on them don't expect them to hold the tape strips. They will come apart.It has good adherence, but I had to use strips of adhesive tape to hold it in place as the open wound was on my elbow.To use this product I make sure the sides are not to sticky, so I tap it with my thumb then place the dressing on my skin.Substandard product and Amazon return policy!!!!!$33.
