Very good productThis review is a review of three different back braces, Modvel, Sparthos and Chanphy. For years I have been wearing a back brace, Mueller brand. I needed to replace it. It’s simply too big for me and I could not close it properly. Things got confusing because it appears Mueller only recently changed from having a one-size-fits-all belt to graduated sizes. Had I known this, I would have order a Mueller, either their small or medium size. I wear a 34-inch waist pants size, weigh about 162 pounds.I'm going to post this review with five stars on the Modvel sight, and one star on the Sparthos and Chanphy sights.To make a long story short, I took advantage of Amazon's free return policy and ordered three different brands, Modvel, Sparthos and Chanphy. They all are made the same way with three wrap-around Velcro closures. I do not believe, however, that the Sparthos and Chanphy brands have enough Velcro on the second to last strap. As a result, you can not close the Sparthos and Chanphy as tight as you can the Modvel. I've returned the Sparthos and Chanphy brands. They didn't close properly, at least on me, with a 34 inch paint size waist. I order 34 inch pants. My actually waist is closer to 33 inches.The Chanphy also had I believe unnecessary plastic buckles and unnecessary hard vertical stays. Maybe these stays are a good thing, but if they are, they do not make up for a lack of proper closure given the insufficent amount of Velcro on the wrap around strap.So if you wear a 34 inch waist paint size, my advice is to order the Modvel brand, their size, "regular." But next time around, I might give Mueller another look now that I know they have graduated sizes.This is easy to put on, adjustable, and very supportive. Nice and comfortable as well.I had an issue with a back pain. I ordered this product and tried this while doing hiking. At first I couldn’t tell which side was up. But from the description to put on the left side first, it became clear. and this is definitely the most comfortable one. Very thin and lightweight. Yet it provides good support. it‘s comfortable around my waist. It doesn’t fold over in the front like some braces do, it’s wide enough to stay put. And I don’t have to stretch it out to almost a breaking point just to put it on. It’s hardly noticeable under my shirt, also. This is definitely the one I’ll wear.I’m building a shed in our backyard and have been using this to help support my back. Often time I’m carrying heavy pieces and extends too far out to lay them in place. This wrap helps keep the tension spread out and reinforces my back bone. The strap is pretty easy to put on and take off. It’s tighten using velcro straps. The back have a triangle cushion that can be removed if needed. It’s also attached via velcro. Overall I’m pretty happy with this strap.Ow one month ago my husband's back was pain and can't well move so I bought it 2 weeks ago. My husband so happy.
