I was skeptical of this, upon reading other reviews that said it was easy to mess up. They sent a package of 2, presumably for this reason. Thankfully, I found it surprisingly user-friendly. Maybe the key is to remove fully the old glue from your device. This can be difficult and it took some time. There's glue on both your phone and on the back cover of your phone. You'll need to completely remove all of this. Certain reviews recommended using rubbing alcohol for removal, and I've seen videos where professionals use that. However I didn't find it worked very well. Instead, I used cheap dental style picks to scrape away the old glue. These are very cheap at discount tool stores. Next, I rubbed and scraped some more, followed by a final clean up with the rubbing alcohol. After it dried, I applied the adhesive template, taking my time to carefully align it. My experience was more positive than that of others, although the prepping of the surface does take a while for optimum results. Take your time with application and surface prep, and you should get good results.
