I installed 3 of these in the front cedar siding of my house for plugging planter lights into and a flag light for the third. They are solidly made products, nice tight rubber seal on the cover. The only thing I'd say could be improved is, if you buy the version with the option to get the rubber back cover, that the cover should have some way to "pop" onto the unit so it doesn't slip off. The unit has a tapered shape to it and once it's been inserted through ~3/4" of board, it's not quite such a snug fit of the rubber "boot". I ended up using some zip ties around the body and the neck to help hold it in place. This is important so the electrical contacts don't get wet or touch anything.
