The soft gel packs were a nice upgrade from some older ones we had that were past their useful time. This one is a better product and the ability to make this conform to difficult areas like the top of my foot is welcome. The cold packs hold the cold, but not too long as it is recommended no longer than around 20 minutes. The packs are nice and flexible when just out from the freezer. Price is very reasonable for the quality.
