First off, I have severe lower back pain , way down in my sacral/ tailbone. It’s the worst! ?I tried one of the copper fit braces ( here on Amazon) and it was “good” but it gave me a mean muffin top ? and it would shift when sitting. I also tried an SI brace, that offered no support or relief.But this brace Is divine!! ?. It pulls me in and gives good firm support. It. wears kind of like a girdle ( with a tad more bulk). The height of this brace sits just below the natural waist to about the top of the pelvis ( I’m 5’6 / 165 lbs- No big hips and minimal booty) As far as any shifting or “ride up”, it’s minimal- Just a slight tug, here or there will get it right back into place. With my copper fit belt, I would have to take it off and put it on, all over again, which is a pain, when you’re out in public. I can honestly say, this brace actually feels comfortable, and is very well made, for the price. Look, no back brace will take away back pain completely. But it’s nice to at least have a brave that gives strong comfortable support, reduces back pain. And smooths nicely over the body. I tried all different sorts of things--ice packs, heat, expensive seat and back cushions, etc. Nothing really helped. I wore this for a couple weeks and it made a huge difference, relieving my pain and ensuring I used good posture.This back brace gives adequate support, but also helps you "sit up straight" while sitting in a chair which helps with lower back pain caused by DDD.The best part of this particular back brace is that it can be worn under clothing because of it's lightweight and because it does not itch. I have another back brace here, that gives better support, but itches like crazy on bare skin and that one is BraceUp. BraceUp is better for wearing "over clothes" and gives a bit better support. Hope this helps!Post broken back. Except for the hard molded type brace, this does the trick for support I live in south Florida so it is very hot but worn over the clothes it's fine. Rolls a little if sitting a lot but doesn't stop it from working great. I am pretty small but I bought one for a big guy too and it fits him great.Like the comfort and can easily be worn under clothingit's tight and a little uncomfortable but I figured that's going to just take getting used to. It is an excellent product that offers protection, comfort and certainly - great support!Finally my wait is over ,i've had a Muller back brace before recomended by my physio ,years agobut it was wearing out ,so i took the plunge and ordered a different drand,what a dissapointmentthey were ok but the wrap around straps were not up to standard ,and the so called velcro type sticky straps were not very secureso i went and ordered Again The Muller Back Brace, and one size fits all proper Velcro wrap arond straps that Don't come offno gaps in the straps ,sorry this is long windedbut happy again al last .ps The Order deos take a long time to come through so be patientPractical and helpful to support the spine.One size does not fit all I am 183 cm height and 98kg with a waist of 123 c/m. I can just get the brace on but it is so tight I can not move and it actually makes my back pain worse. So I tired to return the brace to Mueller via Amazon. But because it was supplied by Mueller direct no refund via Amazon and no way to return the item.Am I missing something here are we supposed to contact the Manufacturer directly ? If so it does not say so on the return info, just not policy to return stock supplied directly by Manufacture.I have a mildly herniated disc from kickboxing/jiu jitsu in my lower lumbar. In between physio, I needed something to support my day to day activities. This back brace fit the bill and at a reasonable price, too. I am 135lbs with a 30 inch waist, and because of the double wrap functionality, I can cinch the brace from comfortable to boa constrictor with ease. After about a month of solid use, the velcro is starting to show signs of wear due to how tight I have to pull it, but I'm confident it will last for several more months of extreme squeezage. In addition, I now feel extreme sympathy for women who have worn or who have to wear corsets on a regular basis. Back to reality, the springs in the back provide rigid support, preventing me from bending too far forward or backward, and the fit is sleek enough to be invisible under a normal t-shirt/dress shirt. Because of the springs propensity to dig in IF you lie on your back, I wouldn't recommend the brace as a sleeping aide (although, I used it for a single night). The product is more of a help you get through your day sort of aide.I've also used it somewhat frequently in my car; however, I recommend a simple Lumbar Pillow for that function. I can't find a reason to take away any stars, and I would buy one again should the need ever arise.
